How did I meet your mom in barney marathon?
The night of the 2017 Boston marathon was memorable for me because it was the first time I ever ran the race. Since childhood, I’d always been interested in running but never seriously trained or competed. But that year I decided to enter the race with my cousin. While I didn’t make it very far, I still had a great time and was ready to tackle the challenge again!

I was at a party one night when I saw your mom dancing in the middle of the room. She must have been about 16 and, to me, she looked like an angel. I asked your dad to dance and he did. We had a great time dancing together that night and every night after that. We eventually got engaged and got married and had six children.

I had never planned to run the marathon. I knew it was a busy weekend but hadn’t given much thought to the marathon before the week of. I’d signed up months in advance, so there was no backing out. The morning of the marathon, I woke up early, got my gear together, and headed out to the start line. Needless to say, I had no idea what I was in for!
