How to wash down jacket?
The best way to wash down a raincoat is in the machine. Just place it in the washing machine and run a normal wash cycle (depending on the kind of jacket – you may need to use a cold wash for some fabrics). If you’re using an outside machine (like a washing machine in a clothesline) be sure to hang your jacket up to dry so it doesn’t get wet!
How to wash down winter coat?
You can wash down your winter coat in the machine, on the gentle cycle, washing in cold water. We recommend washing it inside out. The best way to wash is to first remove the lining, then the outer shell. Use a gentle detergent and soap and let it soak for 30 minutes. Then, put it in the washing machine and wash it as usual. You can also hand wash it, but make sure to use warm water, and never use soap.
