When we are hurting the most common reaction is to try to fix it ourselves. But the truth is that no matter how hard we try, we cannot fix the problem. We may be able to temporarily alleviate the pain, but the reality is that the problem will still be there. And the one who can fix the problem is the One who created us in the first place. That’s why the Bible says, “My God, why have you forsaken me?”
