If I could sing any song but my own, it would definitely be “Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. The music is amazing, and the lyrics are so powerful and beautiful. This song also makes me think of my friend, who is transgender, and how much joy he gets from singing out loud. He is so brave and so courageous, and I could not be more proud of him.
