Why is the Matrix Resurrections rated r?
This is an R-rated movie for a reason! It’s violent, it’s sexual, and it shows the repercussions of being involved with the machines in the first place. While neo handles the physical side of the fight, the machines use their mental abilities to attack and destroy the humans. As the series goes on, the humans’ resistance gets stronger and more sophisticated, but for the first few films it’s not much more than brawn.
