If you have a tampon or a menstrual cup and insert it correctly, your menstrual cycle shouldn’t stop you from swimming. The vagina is not waterproof, so the water should not enter it; however, if you do not insert the menstrual product correctly, you can end up with a bit of a foul odor. If you have odor in the water, you may be able to use baking soda or vinegar to neutralize it.
Will your period stop in the ocean?
